lol no it's TERRIBLE thats why I put my time into encoding, editing and releasing it
though I will say that I do like the TV series more in general compared to the OVA's the Movies are actually pretty good from what I remember.

Usually IMDB is a good source, but it's pretty skimpy for this. It covers the TV series in more detail.

I'm glad @TheProfileth made a sarcastic reply, I was grinding my teeth trying to NOT do that, lolz!

Looks good to me: on my wishlist it goes!

Wait people actually link to IMDB???   I mean I could a understand that for pretty much anything but anime but either way I am only required to link to the standard 3 sites but since you were so nice and actually got me the link I might as well add it too  :-)

If you are referring to the DVD, then IIRC the comparisons between R1 Slayers DVDs versus R2 Slayers DVDs actually showed that the R2 were even more horribly mishandled than the R1 releases.
However I actually did a LOT of fixing and deblending and overall refurbishing to this source.
I mean I went to lossless twice and ended up with 3 waves of filtering before I got this result.
Let me get some comparisons against the source for you.

Where did you find this shit? Proper R2 DVD should be 4:3.
Slayers movies originally were made in full screen format (AR 1.37:1) and cropped to widescreen for theatrical release.
All your efforts will not bring back a quarter of image that cut off in the R1 DVD.
Edit:
If you need a normal uncut source, just ask.

TheProfileth isn't being sarcastic. This show was so horrible and I had to work on it. Can't believe it's being offered since it's -10 in goodness. I feel like I wasted precious life working on this. [Walks away after accomplishing goal]

Well Van if you are willing to give me a proper uncropped DVD I would not mind doing a v2 encode with it :)

Yes for the R1 DVD, but they will not be in v2 from R2J source  :-)

Of course hard Japanese credits will be much better than hard English ones.
(assuming zhe English ones are not just painted over)

This must've been from the older R1 DVD release, because the newer "Essential Anime" R1 version does not have that sign. Supposedly it also has a redone translation, so it would also be worth getting the newer R1 subs to go with the R2 video.

And while we're on the subject, the subtitle text does seem a little small and "overstyled."

Well we can add in the signs but someone needs to procure the updated translation as I don't have access to that.

The Anime-Ancestors releases (nyaa id #244563) will have them. And the sign pictured in that screenshot can be left out -- my guess is that it's a relic from the VHS release that ADV ported straight over to DVD in 2000 or whenever.
