This must've been from the older R1 DVD release, because the newer "Essential Anime" R1 version does not have that sign. Supposedly it also has a redone translation, so it would also be worth getting the newer R1 subs to go with the R2 video.I own the Thinpak movie set from 2005, which would likely use that Essential Anime version since that came out in 2004. I could try comparing subs to see if they're different, if anyone would like.

Thank you for pointing that out Zalis. If enough people feel the subs were overstyled, I wouldn't mind creating another track w/ a more generic font. Anybody who would like this track can just let me know on IRC or Dual-Duality's website so we don't stuff the offer's comments. If enough people seem interested, I would add it in the v2 The_Profileth is currently working on.

All right. Just thought I'd offer in case no one had a hard copy. I didn't even know they changed the subs between those DVD versions until you mentioned it, so thanks for pointing that out. I'm curious to see what changes were made now.

Alright so the v2 is almost done. The encode should be done by tomorrow and we are working on restyling the subs. Also we are gonna offer Slayers Special AKA Slayers Book of Spells next week too.

Is this really necessary?
As far as I know, no other groups at this point have made their version from the proper not overcropped source.

My bad fixed the resolution
While I do fell this way as well comparisons are part of the process even if it is just to alleviate any sense of doubt.

sasha and me already narrowed down the comparison to some releases. also even though this is from a properly cropped source it could still be worse quality wise.
we just want to make sure, because everyone can claim something and we just want to be neutral towards everyone.

Please fix your screenshot code.
You need to use thumbnails in the description, not scaled full size screenshots.
Even better, if you can make them open in the lightbox instead of the other page.
Also using the same background image for all your Slayers offers is somehow wrong,
especially since this image does not reflect their contents and more suited for TV series.
If the original cover art for all Slayers movies will need, let me know

Also you don't need to have them like that, you are allowed to resize them to, at least in this case make things clear. But I understand your concern, normally it would be better to have them at the correct AR's but in this case the AR didn't really matter given that they were letterboxed.

I appreciate very much the decent description and the convenience of standardizing its look, sort of a theme for the anime & the encode. I also agree, however, that something could be done visually to help distinguish the different offers slightly. Maybe a distinctive thin (15 or 20 pixels?) banner or something like at the top? If only different colors/shades of color? It's a nitpick & unimportant in the big picture, so please feel free to ignore.
