In the title, why do you have the open bracket [ but not the close bracket?

If you mean:
<div class="subtitle">[
<a href="http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=7443" />AniDB</a> |
<a href="http://www.anime-planet.com/anime/mouretsu-pirates" />Anime Planet</a> |
<a href="http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=11399" />ANN</a> ]
<br /><br />
</div>
the open bracket is for adb/ann/ap and there is a closing bracket, if something else, then I don't know hwta you mean, cuz I don't see any other bracket.

Can we have a comparsion with the "Why Not?" releases? No, but you might get one with the release currently on the tracker: Commie. It's on my list.

Can we have a comparsion with the "Why Not?" releases? Coalgirls dropped the project initially because WhyNot started their own BD releases, however WhyNot stopped releasing, which resulted in Coalgirls restarting the project. Even if you would prefer WhyNot release, they didn't finish, go and compare on your own, but Coalgirls released it with WhyNot subs, so I don't really see the point in doing a comparison with WhyNot release, which was not completed and is still left unfinished.

I missed out that they never finished the BD's. Thanks for correcting me

Here is a comparison of the WhyNot files that have been released so far to CoalGirls. (frame 27165 if anyone cares)
It is important to note that they have not dropped the BD's and are still working on them.
Edit:
Here is a forum thread for the comparison.
Note I am off to play some more Guild Wars 2 so it will be a while befor I can respond to that thread in any kind of detail.

^Whynot looks better to me.
IIRC CGi tends to blur things(in the past, not sure now) but this time looks like Whynot sharpened it a little bit. CGi has morecompression artifacts (blocking) noise most noticeably at dark areas, e.g. the chair. More frames would be good, e.g. dark scene, moving scene.
Edit: After looking at more frames, it seems that the source has a certain degree of noise and CGi leaves it while Whynot choose to denoise. As a result, for the most part Whynot looks cleaner/better but in some rare parts look less defined/lost detail (not much, mostly lines in some dark areas).
Whynot uses some degree of sharpening (u can see little ringings if magnify or look really hard for it), overall looks good IMO.
However Whynot's release is a bit darker than source (I've checked with histogram and luminosity value is around 1.5 lower than others).
These are 3 major video differences I've noticed. To say it simply, Whynot filtered it out more than CGi. (and releases a lot slower!)
