I have a terrible upload speed, so I pre-uploaded the files.

EDIT: Requested swap to fix file order problem in the LE Drama CD.

Maybe add an AnimeNewsNetwork link with the others. Not completely necessary, but I always find them helpful.

Done.

I would, but I only added the MAL and the AniDB links to pad that box to be about equal length to the "Additional Information" box next to it.

EDIT: Sorry, first offer! Requested another swap to fix the file names on the Radio CD to match the rest of the offer.

First up - Thank you for putting this together.  The old torrent isn't even marked as Incomplete.  So, nice catch.

However, my experience with the ZIPped files you uploaded is a bit messy under a WinXP environment.  They downloaded fine, if a bit slow.  They unpacked (using 7-ZIP) into directories that matched the filelist for your torrent fine, too, and they play in WinAmp (at least) as far as I can tell (have only tried about ten of them for testing so far.

Deal is, though, the filenames of the *.FLACs are pretty hashed. for example:
/Spice and Wolf - Ookami to Kohaku Shoku no Yuuutsu (Drama CD)/contains nine files that look like: 1. æµêΩûï - ïÅÄ≡ë«.flac instead of 01. 第一幕 - 居酒屋.flac, and the tenth file is in its own directory /10. æµÅ/ containing a single file named ûï - éΓé┴é╞î╗Ä└.flac instead of 10. 第十幕 - やっと現実.flac

And,
/Spice and Wolf - Umi wo Wataru Kaze OST (Nintendo DS)/ pulls a similar stunt where the tenth file is placed in its own directory named /10 - è∩û¡é╚ë/ containing a file named .flac instead of 10. - 奇妙な噂.flac.  Every file in all directories have the same naming problem.

Anyway, as near as I can match everything by file order and filesize, I was able to simply copy/pasta the filenames from your descriptions over top of these and (of course) move the files out of their own directories into their proper folder.  No matter which name, they seem to play.

Thought I'd mention that for anyone else who might have the same experience.  I can't tell if it's something on my end, or the file upload is a problem, or if maybe some incompatibility between whatever you ZIPped them with vs. what I unZIPped them with.  With the copy/pasta magic I did, I expect these will check properly once the torrent approves (?) ... or, at least I'm hoping so.

Looking forward to it and, if I'm online when this is approved, I'll certainly jump in and help out seeding.  I've got the original torrent from here @BBT in it's original root directory, so as long as there are no changes should be good to go.

Again, thanks!  One of my favorite anime & I'm happy to upgrade my OST collection for it.

[ EDIT: Oh yeah - is "Yuuutsu" the proper spelling on that drama CD directory?  The triple "uuu" in that makes me suspicious since that's quite unusual. ]

I was afraid of that. I think it's a problem with the upload service I used, turning the file names into mojibake, as the file names were in encoded in UTF-8. I used 7-zip to create the ZIPs, but I don't think it's a problem with the unZIP utility you used.

And yeah, I didn't touch the directories of the old torrent, so the old files should seed fine. I made a few filename changes and maybe one or two metadata field changes on the current files (torrent) compared to the ZIPs, so unfortunately I think you'll have to re-download (CRC won't match and file names won't match). Thanks for the help, though!

EDIT: "Yuuutsu" is fine I think. I Googled the album name and came up with results. MAL's entry on the first season of Haruhi has 3 u's as well. Also, regarding the speed of the download, is it faster or slower than MediaFire? I went with this host because of the obscurity, 100 GB space, and "unlimited free download" speed offer. If it's slower than MF, I'll just reupload future offers to MF instead.

I am using 7-ZIP, so definitely not an incompatibility there.  Like I said, I copied the /dir/filenames directly from your description, the Filelist, to be exact ... so should match everything that's otherwise identical.  Probably a few individual files will re-download, as per metadata changes.  No biggie; my ratio can absorb it without issues.  I'm more hoping to help you out for initial seeding if I happen to catch it when it's approved.  My upload isn't godlike, but it's substantial enough to give a solid assist.

As far as downloading from filetrip.net, it took ~15-20 minutes per file.  There was some variation on speed, but generally fluctuated around 90-100 KB/s & spiked ~200 when I bothered to look ... so, not horribad or anything.  To its credit, filetrip.net allowed me to simultaneously download all three files (at pretty much the same speed for each) rather than force sequentially and make me wait between downloads.  It was ~850 MB total for the three of them & I didn't get capped at that level, either.  I'd call it a pretty good alternate service, especially since I don't maintain download accounts with any service and never have access to any of the premium features.

did not see first comment.
or you could have adopted it since uploader is unlikely to return to bbt.

When you swap an existing torrent, it's much tougher to generate a decent seedpool.  It's ten times (or more) harder when it's a non-anime torrent, such as music, manga, live action, etc.

So, the best way to revitalize a torrent ... especially when updated with significant new content ... is to just make a new offer.  It goes to the top of the Browse page and you get a far larger and more stable seedpool to keep it alive.  The issue has come up a couple times, and I even created & pushed a thread pretty hard to try and come up with a better solution, but this is the best we have at the moment.

[ EDIT - EternalRain, I hate to tell you this, but you're gonna be doing at least one more swap. ;-)

You've got a few recursively duplicated directory sets happened.  Somehow.

And, since you have to do another swap anyway, you might want to take a look at how files are named in the Nintendo DS directory.

Here, you've brought the Radio CD up to speed with the leading zero for the EN track#:

/Spice and Wolf - Ookami to Momo no Hachimitsu Duke (Radio CD)/
 01. 第一幕 - 狼と桃のはちみつ漬けⅠ.flac

Which is Good Practice, thank you.  But, notice here:

Spice and Wolf - Umi wo Wataru Kaze OST (Nintendo DS)
 01. - 海を渡る風.flac

all the files in that directory have a leading space-hyphen-space-filename without any track# in JP between the track# in EN and the hyphen separator.  Might be worth cleaning that up by deleting out the superfluous space-hyphen-space or adding in the missing artist(?) & track# in kanji. ]

[ further EDIT - looking at it closer, I see another option may be to eliminate "第一幕" from the Radio CD & Drama CD files (in addition to the superfluous space-hyphen-space).  It'll be up to you.  Since I can't read it, don't know if it's useful info that should remain or useless extra characters that don't add anything worthwhile.

Comparing also to the [LONE] original files, maybe delete is the better option.  I'd also remove the extra period after the EN track# such as "01." to just "01"... but, that's just a personal preference on my part.  I try to always reserve the period for one use only in a filename (as much as possible), which is to separate out the file extension as in ".flac" and nowhere else to avoid confusing different operating systems and software. ]

it not that hard to give a old torrent some life take for example when i adopt i allways add my adopted torrent to my seedbox i add links to the torrent from outside bbt plus we have measures to keep torrent from dying like the bonus system  plus its already for some of the part on here so  the people that will downloading this will ether be downloading this will be downloading this for a. more complete version or b just for the upload buffer. so that y i feel an update to the current version in my option is fine because i belive everey one on here can use the search bar just fine.

Which cover image exceeds 50 KBs? I thought I made sure every image was <50 KBs.
For the new images at least, I just redownloaded them: 48.3 KB/46.2/49.2 KBs (in order of the album order in the torrent).

7 covers, so the majority. ^^;

I'm going to ask someone about getting the remaining content romanised.

I'll be happy to update the files if you can get the last drama CD in romaji. I would've done it myself, but nihongo.j-talk.com isn't exactly the most reliable, hah.

Ookami to Momo no Hachimitsu Duke

Requested swap that fixes the current recursive folder problems (empty folders in folders) and changed name of all FLACs to their Romaji equivalents. Edited tracklists in description accordingly.
