Edit; it seems r0r1p0p's also contains both tracks, so this might not be needed after all... AniDB still gives this 3 stars and r0r1p0p 2 1/2 stars so I'll download that one and compare these two. If there's no siqnificant difference, I'll delete this offer...

Edit2; So far Hitsuji's seems very slighty sharper and has slightly better color saturation when viewed side by side or frame by frame (sreenshot1).
Also there's some noise(normal) in the darker areas as well as in most larger one-color areas(blocks) in r0r1p0ps release (screenshot2)

for subs, Hitsuji's sentences are generally shorter, but no noticeable differences(as in what they convey)  but I'm not one to judge them. On the other hand r0r1p0p has more elaborate karaoke whereas Hitsuji's uses simple softsub karaoke.
Hitsuji has softsubs(styled/unstyled) whereas r0r1p0p uses hardsubs

Hitsuji's screenshots do look cleaner, I guess it's fine to replace r0r1p0p's version with this then.

I'll sit on it awhile and grant it tomorrow just to make sure nothing slipped my mind.

:-) It would be good to get some opinions of the subs as well if one them is to prefer...

Mmm... I swear, half of the stuff I am catching these days are a set up for a hentai. I'm interesting in this even though it's not hentai. Forbidden fruit, yummy. Has the manga this is based on been uploaded here or has it not been translated or finished?

The group that was translating stopped doing it a while ago. You can get some of the chapters from their site http://shoujomagic.net/

Another group has picked it up and is working on it. Check the info at mangaupdates.

HAHAHA!

I watched this a long time ago when I still thought incest was disgusting. I forgot the title but I have been looking for this for the past few weeks. Now that I think incest is hot, I really want to watch this again. Thanks for the upload!

There isn't anything worth flogging your penis for in this, just making that clear for people who might think they'll get their jollies from this. I was one of those people and I was very wrong haha (had gotten it from some hentai website :< ) I guess it was pretty cool if you like drama. You'll feel a little dirty if you get immersed in the story. Can't say it was a good watch since I watched it for the wrong reasons....but I bet it's not too bad lol

Damn, I starting watching this knowing what it is, but damn, this show is pretty harsh. You do feel "dirty" watching this. But it makes sense. If a person really did start to have feelings for their sibling, it wouldn't be clean and nice. It would be hard to accept, but I think that if they can admit that they love each other then I think their love is a valid one. Still, in an incestuous relationship, the couple should never have a child because of the risks of something being wrong with the child. Since the child has no say over it, it just isn't fair.

Having feelings of "love" for a family member is normal.  Having feelings of lust for a family member and mistaking that lust + familial love is equal to normal love is wrong; finding incest hot is pretty normal, but indulging in it isn't.
If this was explicit it would have been labelled as such.  This series is only good for those that can stomach the drama.

So how does this compare to Koi Kaze?  In terms of pacing, characters, story, music, etc..

I quite enjoyed Koi Kaze for what it was, and don't want to be disappointed by expecting something similar when it may not be.

comparing to Koi Kaze, this thing is short. and the feeling was already established before the show started. while Koi was detailed, it tells how the feelings were developed.

but they all have similarities. we could understand how they felt because we know deep inside they really didn't appreciate their social life just like us. :-D

Oh I remember this!  Back in the day when Crunchyroll had fansubs, this was one of the most watched!  That of course made me curious enough to watch.

Bizarre in more ways than one.  First off, let me say that I found some of the animation - faces in particular, girls' faces most of all - kind of low-quality.  Bad proportions, little or no expressiveness.

The story itself: disappointing and creepy.  To be fair, it does not claim to be hentai or ero at all.  In that sense, it is almost a pure love story.  The couple of sex scenes are very discreet, maybe PG-13 level.  Except -- IT'S HIS SISTER. And twin sister, at that.  OK now, I'm an only child, dunno what it's like growing up with a sister. But I think I could least understand a young pair of siblings who play show n tell or whatever, there is natural body curiosity.  I think I could even understand an older pair of siblings engaging in some sexual activity, out of either curiosity, frustration, or even rebellion.  But Yori is in actual star-crossed, starry-eyed, romantic LOVE with sister Iku. That's where I find this just creepy rather than perverted.   Well, I also said it was disappointing.  Partially because it isn't perverted - as noted, the slightest tease of the erotic.  Disappointing too as a love story though, because it just ends, rather than concludes: none of the romantic tension is resolved in the slightest.  Yori goes away - but only, we are led to believe, so that he and Iku may possibly have an outwardly normal romantic relationship somewhere else... where they are not known... sometime later...

Both are tormented by the knowledge that theirs is a forbidden love, but nothing is done to resolve it.  This aint Rhett Butler making a grand departure with "I don't give a damn." This is Charlie Brown feebly waving "Uhhhh....see you later I guess...."

If this sort of theme intrigues you, I found it much better done in the game/interactive graphic novel "Little Sister Kana." Now THERE'S a worthwhile tale of what still remains "The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name."

The wincest is spelled out for you everywhere in this anime. I, for one, enjoy watching this forbidden love. The first one I ever watched was Koi Kaze, I think. Which sent me on a whirlwind of emotions. Even if it's wrong, it's a nice story. As for criticizing the ending, you can't just have the two get together, that's why it's called forbidden love. You can't just have it end with 2.5 children and a happily ever after. That would never work or be accepted by society. These often end in the same way. Use your imagination to think of how it happened. Did they continue? Did they change their feelings? It's part of the fun that it feels so wrong... and yet it still feels right.
