***Newbie's Guide to Anime
Rule #1. Don't accept any advice coming from a 15 years old Naruto lover.
Rule #2. Watch every oldie you can get your hands on. Don't be afraid of the year; you will witness a part of the anime history. [That does not mean that newer titles are weak]
Rule #3. Stay open-minded. Don't bash a genre if you haven't watched at least 50% of the titles included in it. You will find gems in the most unexpected places, I promise!
Rule #4. Don't go for dubs. I admit, sometimes dubs are better [take Hellsing OVA for example], but in 90% of the cases the Japanese VA's do a wonderful job! And Respect the subbers, they do all the work.
Rule #5. Enjoy the ride. And never underestimate the power of older men with glasses!!! *_*
