There's something wrong with this torrent.

Not sure what do you mean

Maybe it's something else that I need more understanding on but I tried to download this twice to two different 16GB flashdrives (one a SanDisk and the other a Maxell) and both times my torrent downloader said my flashdrives ran out of available space even though both times they were far from being full (they were both empty when I started), also I was not able to copy what I downloaded to the flashdrives to my computer, I was only able to download about 80% to 85% both times.

There is a 4gb filesize limit with the fat32 filesystem that your pendrives will be using.

What's a fat32 filesystem? Also I have downloaded much bigger files to flashdrives.

I am sorry I am not knowledgable enough to explain what a filesystem is. But in your case the problem you have is that you cannot create a 'single' file bigger than 4gb on your pendrives. The file in the torrent is bigger than 4gb.

Two questions for you:

Do you know why I couldn't copy what I downloaded to my flashdrive to my computer?

Do most or all flashdrives and other similar memory devices have the 4GB-limit for a single file?

Almost all pendrives use fat or fat32. You can format your pendrives to ntfs (same as your hard drive in your pc) and remove the limit but your pendrives memory will die quicker as ntfs will make more writes to your pendrives memory. As to why you cannot copy what you have to your hard drive I am not sure. Maybe the file has been locked by something like your torrent client.

Try quitting your torrent client and copying the file to your pc. If you do not intend to watch the video from your pendrive you can always zip/rar it up and split the file in bits less than 4gb.

I'm just going to download it directly to my computer, thanks for the info.

This would have been a better live action movie than Sharknado.

Playback stops at 24:22 on MX Player and starts chugging on MPC-HC.  I noticed that the subtitles on the phone screen were looking a bit wonky, so I disabled them and playback was fine.  So if anyone is having trouble with crashes or slowdown during that time, try disabling the subs for that part and turn them back on maybe at 24:30 or something.

However, this is only a layman's fix.  This piqued my curiosity.  Can someone provide a more technical explanation about why this occurs?
